P5 - Record the different sound elements

This is picture of me recording some sounds using the Zoom H5 Recorder.

In order to create and record sound elements, I had to adopt a Zoom H5 Recorder, so that I can record some sounds and have control over: in the sense that I can see how many sounds I need, make sure it is not too long, make sure it is loud enough or the preferred volume.


While using the Zoom H5 Recorder, to begin with I had to check the battery was present and charged, as well as having the SD card so that it is ready to record.

Then I had to switch it on by sliding the button with a power sign next to it. After doing this the display of the recorder would open.

Then it needs to be formatted so that there is enough space to record. Also the settings need to be checked and made sure there in the right format of recording mode.

Then the input should be selected and by adjusting and monitoring the levels it is ready to use to recored the sound.

This is a picture of me interviewing someone using the Zoom H5 Recorder. It shows how the device has been used to record the voice of a person into it.


The sounds would then be uploaded on the mac computers and review and later edited.
